Starting this week,ÌýÂé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ students living on campus can join fun and educational summer camps where they can learn new skillsÌýlikeÌýGolf,Ìýadvance in specific areas likeÌýLeadershipÌý²¹²Ô»åÌýDebate,Ìýmake friends, andÌýkeep active.ÌýÌý Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ summer camp returns to Northcliffe Campus with a varietyÌýof fun-packed programsÌýstudents can join. FromÌýsportsÌýandÌýInternational KitchenÌýtoÌýtripsÌý²¹²Ô»åÌýgardening, weÌýareÌýexcited to see studentsÌýenjoyingÌýtheir favourite activities.ÌýOur Student Leadership Development team has carefully developed a program that offers structured opportunitiesÌýfor studentsÌýtoÌýgrow, becomeÌýindependent,Ìýself-confidentÌý²¹²Ô»åÌýsocialize.Ìý

Learning New Skills and Developing as LeadersÌý

Summer Camps will also be an opportunity for some to develop new skills,Ìýfor example with theÌýLearn to GolfÌýprogram.Ìý There will be opportunities for students to practice theirÌýpublic speakingÌý²¹²Ô»åÌýdebateÌýskills during theÌýModel United NationsÌýcamp.ÌýLeadership Training,ÌýProfessional DevelopmentÌý²¹²Ô»åÌýCommunityÌýServiceÌýare other popularÌýoptions for students looking to get aheadÌýinÌýpreparingÌýforÌýthe new academic year.Ìý Students enrolled in theÌýDuke of EdinburghÌýprogram, or even those just looking for some adventure and personal development can join theÌýVoyageurÌýCanoe TripÌýat Algonquin Park andÌýLearn to CampÌý– Bronze Level Duke of Edinburgh.Ìý On Wednesday every week,Ìýcampers can join fun trips to theÌýZoo,ÌýNiagara FallsÌýand other local attractions.Ìý Campers are grouped in social bubbles and all activities are following Ontario’s Phase 2 Reopening guidelines.ÌýÌý

This exclusive summer camp is run by UofT and Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ staff from July 26 toÌýJuly 30, 2021Ìýfor Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ students living in Residence.ÌýIt is anÌýintense experience inÌýteam-buildingÌý²¹²Ô»åÌýproblem solvingÌýfor motivated learners ready to take on real world problems.Ìý Students will join on-line lessonsÌý²¹²Ô»åÌýtraining with University of Toronto professorsÌýin the morning andÌýin-person application of morning sessions with StudentÌýLeadershipÌýDevelopmentÌýstaff.Ìý
