Hamilton Has Walk-in Vaccination Clinics and Lowest COVID Case Numbers
Hamilton residents do not need to book their vaccine appointmentin the Mass Vaccination Clinicsin the city, as they are now offering walk-ins for the first dose.Themeasureprovidesaboost to vaccination rates andincreasedaccessibilityto the vaccineforHamiltonians. Additionally,theincrease of thevaccine coveragehelpstopreventthe spread of the deltavariant.
As of July19, the vaccinationprogress for those with at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccineinHamilton is76%of the population18years old or older.
An impressive60% of thispopulation group is fullyvaccinated.

Students returning to 鶹ýӳ Residence with one dose,or without a COVID-19 vaccine,will be eligible to receive it in the comfort of their Residence or Academic Building. Parents must send a signed COVID-19 vaccination consent.
鶹ýӳ students who have received their first dose at 鶹ýӳ will be eligible tobook their second doseappointments at a faster date if at least28 dayshaspassedsince their first dose.
鶹ýӳNurses are offering vaccination for first or second doses to all students, staff andtheirdirect family member living in the same household. 鶹ýӳ is joining the efforts to keepour community safe with lower covid cases and higher vaccination rates.
鶹ýӳ StudentsExemptedfrom QuarantinewhenFully Vaccinated
International travellers who are currently eligible to enter Canada must have proof of vaccination withone of the 4 vaccines approved by Health Canadato qualify for exemption: Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Janssen.
The Canadian Government announced thatfully vaccinatedtravellerscoming to Canada 14 days or more after receiving the second dose will beexempt fromthe14-days quarantine.
Fully vaccinated 鶹ýӳ studentsmeeting the above requirements who arereturning to Residence this Summer and Fall will be released from quarantine after receiving a COVID-19 negative test and clearance from 鶹ýӳ’s Medical Team.
