Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ has introduced REACH App to all students and staff. All areÌýrequired toÌýuse their phone toÌýscanÌýtags or QR codesÌýaround the school buildingÌýwhich checks themÌýin at various locations.ÌýÂé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ Tracing Reports will be accessed by Security Management,Ìýonly in the event of a positive case of COVID-19. Student safety and well-being are at the heart of Total Care Education. Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ is excited to introduce REACH, a smartphone app that can help us better communicate with students.Ìý

  • NFC Tags and QR Codes only provideÌýlocation informationÌý
  • DownloadingÌýtheÌýREACHÌýApp doesÌýnotÌýgive access to any other information onÌýtheÌýphoneÌý
In the event of a positive COVID-19 case or possible exposure, Hamilton Public Health requires close contacts to be identified.ÌýÌý By using REACH contact tracing,Ìýwe can:Ìý
  • Respond quickly and effectivelyÌý
  • Avoid spread and keepÌýtheÌýÂé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ community safeÌý
  • Identify close contacts;Ìýrather than locking down the entire school, we may be able to isolate smaller groupsÌýwho mayÌýhaveÌýbeenÌýexposedÌý
  • Maintain in-person classes, clubs, sports, trips, and eventsÌý
  • Avoid additional quarantine or isolation periods due to exposure to COVID-19Ìý
